Shareapic Treasure Hunt Picture Puzzles

Following on from a suggestion by The Chump I'm going to be doing random "Who or What" shareapic treasure hunt puzzles that will each offer a prize with them.

This thread is to tell you how those puzzles will work and what you must do in order to claim both your 5 points and your prize.

Here goes....

1) When a shareapic Treasure Hunt Prize Puzzle is posted it will be of a picture that has previously been posted by me in one of the celebrity picture sections.

2) Instead of just randomly guessing at who or what you think it is...you actually need to track down the picture in the MTW shareapic account.

3) You do this by going to Shareapic - The pic sharing site that gives back!

Once there you'll see a screen that lists the galleries for MTW that are on shareapic. You need to go to the bottom and click on "Show all of WillRiker's Galleries"



You will then get a list of all the galleries of MTW's that are on there and it will tell you how many pictures are in that particular galley...



4) When you think you have a clue as to who it may be, click on that gallery and you will get a screen full of thumbnails of the pictures in that particular gallery...



Click on the thumbnail of the picture that you think it is and you'll get the following screen, (or one similar with the celeb you chose, Kiefer is just an example)...



If you think this is the picture that I have used then you click on the link that says "link to it"....

5) You will then get a page as shown...



All you need to do is copy and paste that link in to the picture puzzle post on MTW and when you do your post should look something like this...




Now...and here's the important bit.....

These puzzles will all have a prize from the MTW cafepress store attached to them, (probably a fridge magnet, but you might catch me on a generous day and it could be something bigger and better).

Therefore you can still guess in the same way that we play the ordinary games by just posting who you think it is....but in order to get the points and the prize I need the EXACT picture posted in the thread in the manner explained above.

The 1st of these will be posted after the next picture is guessed, so if you have any questions, ask them now.

Hope that all made sense and have fun searching through the thousands of shareapic pages looking for the correct picture.

It's brilliant, but I think you should make it after the win at two games. Because people can get lucky on one, but to do it twice will ensure the devoted game players get a prize. Not the people that play once and never play again.

Just my thoughts. You're running this particular game though. So its up to you.

I take all suggestions on board...

I guess I'll decide on the prize depending on how long it goes on maybe...like if it's guessed pretty quickly then it could be down to dumb luck...(and there's a whole lotta dumb on MTW), and like you say if it's after 2 or more then they've had to work at it....but that being said the prizes I'm sending so far are only MTW Fridge Magnets which are only costing me $3.49 and hopefully the extra picture views in looking for the right picture should offset that.

We'll see how it goes though...the rules can be fluid and we can change them until we find a right mix that works.
