Life on Mars

Ok, not many folk outside of the UK will either receive this show or understand most of the references. Basically its about a present day cop who gets hit by a car and goes into a coma. He then wakes up as a cop in 1975. Although this might not be too much of a catastrophy it makes for interesting times trying to cope just 30 odd years in the past. No mobile phones, no phorensics, racism, brutality, sexism. And thats just the police force.
All the time he is haunted by voices from the present day discussing his coma and whether they should turn off the life support etc. Sometimes its almost spooky.
Anyway, I give it a thumbs up. Partly because its set near to where I grew up, in a nostalgic time, and one of my best mates stars in it.

Well I know the show and have seen the trailers for it, but I've never seen it though.

I recently downloaded both series of this to watch it and it was really good.

They're making a follow up for 2008 called "Ashes To ashes" which sounds like it'll be fun as well.
