LOST - The hot airballoon captive one of the "OTHERS"?

So last week, on LOST, the French lady caught that dude that supposedly crashed his hot air balloon on the island and his wife died months after from some funky fever. But the French lady says he's full of shit and he's one of THEM.

So do you think he is one of the "Others"? I wasn't terribly sure up until the last scene practically when John got the vault door open and when they panned back to the captive guy's face, his eyes looked very deceitful. Also, for someone that just got their ass kicked, you'd think he'd be laying on the ground in pain, not eagerly paying attention with a whimper or sniff at all.

I actually think the french lady is one of the others, he is just scared and untrusting cause he hasn't told his whole story yet

If the French lady didn't take that baby for herself a few episodes ago, I'd agree she is one of the "others" but being that she did, I believe her story. And basically her loss of her son is what prevents her to join the Others.

I'm still pissed at the episode where they gave up the guns, some jackoff starts wagging his dumbass tongue off and says "drop the guns" to me in that situation gets a free third nostril, the next one to beak off gets the same...The others are pussies and will head for the hills...

We only just got Season 3 of LOST here last night (ep's 1 & 2), and I'm more confused by it all than I ever was.

Welcome to the club! I love LOST but, I think they're trying to make the story line too big. They don't want to run into a situation like FRIENDS, where everyone demanded what they want and got it but, I think it's kinda taking away from the story. Like I said I still love it though!
