do you have zone alarm active on your computer??

if you do deactivate it and then see if that makes a difference

and on the mycomputer icon, right click and pick properties

verify that somewhere on there is says Service Pack 2

Ya, that ZoneAlarm is a motherfucker. I hate that thing. My sister has it and it fucks everything up. Its way too strict.

Zone alarm is for people that have an above average idea about thier computers and want to block and allow everything, other than that it is more useless than Firefox!
