| Pay attention to when the dog is going to the bathroom. I would assume it's within a half hour after eating and when she wakes up. How old is the dog? If it's still a puppy you might have a chance at breking her but if she's getting over a year or two you'll probably have a lot of work on your hands. The best thing you can do is keep the dog crated when you are away and when your around make sure to catch the animal right before the act and take it outside. Try to be positive at all times NEVER yell at the animal, you'll just frighten it and it'll prolly piss everywhere right then and there. Also, always let the dog know she's going outside or potty whichever you use, tell her everytime and when she does go potty outside like a good girl be sure and shower her with praise. She should get the point quickly if you follow those guidelines. Good luck! |

| yeah i would say the same for letting the dog know she is doing the right thing when she excretes outside. Take the dog on a walk, if time allows, at least once a day. Dogs tend to do their business when they are walking or running. |

to start with, kept her indide for 3-4 hours and then go outside and tell her "toilet", BANG, instant pee or pooh!, go back inside and into her basket and have a choc or dried liver treat! works wonders. Si

| Great White Dope | I know my brother had two dogs, both and passed away like a year ago. But I know one thing he would do if they would miss behave or so something there not to do and that was take the dog and put them on there back, stradle the dog pinning there lags down and with a free hand grab there musel, look strait in there eye and tell them NO! Worth a shot if all else fails. |

| I had a hell of a time with my dog, and even took him to the vet. The vet thought it might be worms, took a stool sample, and still didn't find anything. About a year later the cat broke out with worms, so we took another sample from the dog too, and found out he had at least two types, so we fed him the meds and he stopped pissing and crapping on the carpet. The wierd thing was was he only did it at one time, and only if he could get to that one spot, since we tried a barrier. Then again he humps cats so he isn't quite normal.
