I've tried several times and have never been able to shout in it, and before it was signing me out of the site too! But not it's just telling me I can't use it.

Go on then and spank me, I've been bad.

What is the exact error message you are getting?

and it says this when I click shout or hit enter.

going to reboot the server. maybe that will help.

well I am assuming that you did the server thing, because this time when I tried to use the shoutbox it logged me out again!

why does it hate me?

Shoutbox is now CONFIRMED to be causing major load on the server. Its is gone.
