It sucks to be a Timberwolves fan

ok if you are not into sports then this ramble is not for you..

As you may know i live in Minnesota, and i am a local sports fan and a big fan for the profesional basketball team called The Timberwolves, well where do i begin on why it sucks to be a fan? The Timberwolves made the playoffs 6 years in a row and each year they LOST in the first round, then last year when they finally make it past the first round guess what? They still lose in the western finals, which granted is not bad but the players arent getting any younger, so this brings me to the 04-05 season which officialy ends tonight and for the first time in 7 years they WONT be making the playoffs due to the shity decisions the gm has made over the years, he tried siging a guy under the table in 98 and we lost 3 first round draft picks along with drafing a load of busts with the picks they still had, and making dumb trades for old one year wonders (ie; cassel, spreewell) if this team wants to make a run they will need youth and talent for next year no more old guys to be the side kick of garnet, who btw is also not getting any younger. You might say "stop cheering for them" but i say if you can't cheer for one team threw the highs and lows then your not a true fan, it sucks to be a fan but they are still my team.

Hey I totally agree, Kevin Garnett, Sam Cassell, and Latrell Sprewell, can't carry everybody on their backs, including the stupid GM. And the Vikings aren't much better nowdays. The Twins are doing pretty well.
I have always loved the Minnesota teams. In fact Kirby Puckett was my hero as a kid. #34 is my fav number still. I even went to his retirement and cried. And I collect anything Kirby Puckett.

cool, the vikings have had bad luck just as the wolves but no doubt the team that has the dark cloud over them in the basketball team , i also forgot to mention drafting Avery (nice move Kevin)

Give it up. It is just a game. People get carried away about sports, just look at soccer in Europe. It is just a game! Mellow out and enjoy watching the game and who cares who is winning and who is losing. I have my sport and my favourite team is losing. So what! I still like to look at the game and enjoy it.
totaly screwed up with over 50+ years experience!

    AND A BITCH!

FootBall, Soccer, who cares. Why play the sport if you know you might get stuck out on the field with that dude that sticks his finger in the opponents ass.

Thanks for the "it's just a game" comment, kimmy. You're right. Half right. Read the what Articles wrote just beneath the title of the thread. If you're not into them, there's no need to ramble about them. Nuff said.
