Update on the gun in the pool

Well, its a relatively small town, and since a certain person in my family has a HUGE mouth that she uses for multiple purposes *cough* damn near everyone in town knows about what happened. I can't even make a firebomb without my neibhors shitting themselves. Anyway, the guy thats supposed to look through the pool wanted police there so he wouldn't have to come to court. Well, he drained the cover and didn't find anything. Big surprise. Now its either in the pool itself, somewhere else in our yard, or some little kid has it had the elementary school a block away from my house. Well, it turns out we're looking for his keys, too. God forbid when he gets out of jail he has to get a locksmith to get his car open, or fix his window from where the police smash it in. Apparently it started out as a car chase, and why they need the keys... I have no idea. Also, it turns out they didn't find him in the pool. They found him under the bushes, after he got out of the pool. So that means the gun could be anywhere in the neihborhood, and as I said before, I live a block away from a school, which is across the street from a church. Seems to me some kid with anger issues at Lincoln Douglas Elementary School is going to find it and Freeport will be on national news...
