Thread: Non-MTW Related Question

    Non-MTW Related Question

I'm currently working on a different type of website all together at the moment. Let me first say that MTW is not going to be affected at all by this. Other than for a little as I'm sure you've noticed, I haven't been around MTW a bunch. But I'll be back once this other site gets going on its own. Once it gets rolling, it should take a minimal amount of my time.

Anyway, I don't want to say too much about this other site just yet.

    But here's my question.

What other types of sites do you guys visit or would visit that have a forum? What's the theme of those sites? Talking about informative sites too. Basically I'm trying to think up various types of forums/themes. For example, MTW Forums are "Adult Humor" related.

    Here's a few ideas I have:

Automotive (Type of forum car enthusiasts would be a part of to talk about cars, swap ideas and tips, maybe even get in contact to sell things to each other)

Family (Type of forum that mothers and fathers and possibly kids would go to to share experiences, talk about issues they have at home to try and get tips and ideas from other parents to help with their issues)

Singles (Type of forum where people talk about dates they've had, good and bad ones. Maybe a section of romantic ideas or ideas for proposing to one's girlfriend. Possibly evolve into being able to connect with one another like other dating sites)

Computer Talk (Type of forum where people get together for PC tips and tricks. Share their creations and so forth)

Get the idea? Have any other ideas? I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me.

And the reason for this other site is to try and make a little bit of money to cover the costs of MTW and be able to improve MTW even more without breaking my wallet. So any help you give would only be helping MTW in the long run.

    Thanks.

Don't need that anymore. I downloaded the beta3 of the Google toolbar like you suggested!

Apart from other humour sites, the main type of sites/forums that I tend to 'lurk' around are music related ones.

Don't know if that's of any interest, but just thought I'd share.

I could always use a pc help site. software information. advice. where to get decent and cheap software and hardware.

    Advice column

    movie reviews

book reviews. erotica and other novels etc.

if you want a porn site, make it separate from all others and with the singles site.

hahaa. Well, I'm temporarily putting that other site on hold now that I gave it a good chunk of my time and now I'm going to come back and focus on MTW some more.

But feel free to keep giving suggestions for the other site.
