2010 Rebuild of MTW & What You Need To Do!

As you can tell, MTW is being redesigned. There are still plenty of bugs in the script and updates are coming out every week to fix more and more. Not to mention there are plenty things that I have put together here on MTW that have been shitcanned due to incompatibility with the new script and other reasons. But I'm working on getting as much back as possible that seemed to work.

I will update this thread as time goes on, but now I ask for your help to remind me of good features of the past and things that should be tweaked that are new to improve things for all.

Take note that as you guys suggest things, I will be deleting your post and re-editing my post here with your suggestion.




Morty's To Do List:

• REPLY ALL for private messages
• Who's Chatting in the header of those in the Chat Room
• White backgrounds in the Gallery are flippin blinding!
• The Quick Reply box's Bold Italic and Underline buttons are too dark. Hard to read the B, I and U.
• DONE --- Bring back the front page of MTW with all the helpful links and "latest" stuff
• FIXED --- Notifications drop down menu is bleached white. -BunnyMan
• FIXED --- UserCP's left blocks is white and blinding. Must darken. -BunnyMan
• FIXED --- "TITLE" box when creating a new thread needs color scheme fixed. Text matches background too much. -mommysalomi
• FIXED --- "NEW POST" icon linky image on the What's New? list of threads doesn't link to newest thread.-Will Riker
• FIXED --- Arcade timing out and not letting scores save. Saying "logged out". - Meagan
  
• FIXED-- Fix the "hot" forum status icon for threads that are "hot" status but have nothing NEW. Accidentally made the NEW and OLD icons for HOT threads the same image.

I'll mark these things as I fix them. Please help me with a list to improve MTW back to the golden turd it was before the upgrade. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, (as I forget where we are with the arcade), do we know if the tournaments are working OK or not?

I seem to remember we were having all kind of glitches with them, but I can't remember if the arcade was ever actually upgraded or not.

Just was thinking about starting up the weekly tournaments again if it all is running smoothly now.

Hmmm..thinking about it why don't I just set up a test tourney and find out!

I'm in there,,,but my tiles on the tree are still blank,,,but you probably know that.. OO OO,,,but the game pages seem fixed !!

Ya. I reloaded the arcade to at least get rid of the blinding part. Even though I need to put some sort of horizontal line to separate each game row/title/description thingy.

Woo Hoo! I fixed the dark input box when creating a thread and you try to type in the TITLE. Damn that took me too long figure out.

Anybody know what my comment in the original thread about the gallery being blinding white was about? Did i fix it and not realize it. Can't figure out WTF I'm talking about with that item.

No idea on the gallery one. I use the gallery more than most and to be honest it looks fine to me and has for a while, can't recall it being blinding and I'm sure I'd have noticed with my fuckered up eyes..so beats me I'm afraid.

Maybe it got fixed when I upgraded the gallery script a few weeks ago and didn't realize I even commented on how it was before the upgrade.
