The title says it all. My poor little Faith has surpassed me in stitches in one small accident. Amazing the pain they can indure, which is much more than I can for sure.
Here's what happened..........................
Older sister was swinging on her swing when the younger daughter decided to run under her or at least to close to the swing. Somehow the swing and where the chain attaches to the seat got hooked in little Faith's cheek and tore it completely open. Just picture opening your mouth and taking a knife and cutting back towards your ear about 1 1/4" and your mouth opening that much more than it's suppose to. That is what happened yesterday about 3:30pm and then spending the next 8 hours in the ER while they stitched her back together with 40 stitches.
She was great and didn't cry that much other than when they put the IV in her little hand. They put her under to do the work and just like her daddy it took 3 times the normal dose to keep her under. When she woke up she did nothing but make us laugh by saying WOOOOOOO every time she turned her head.LMAO LMAO
The final straw was just when we thought we were going to go home they had an emergency and pushed us to the side in the room while they brouth in an older lady who we listened to DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then for the next hour stay there listening to the family grieve before I could finally get the Dr. to release us.
That is all I can say for now other than the stitches will come out in 1 week and it will take up to 8 months to see if there is any damage that may require more surgery.
Everyone hung your kids today and be thankful!!!!!!
