One or the Other

I'm trying to clean up my computer and I was recomended by a friend to use Auslogics BoostSpeed. It seems to be helping but I ran into a snag while trying to test my internet speed. The program sent me to another site to download Uniblue RegistryBooster. It seems a little fishy to me. Auslogics scans and fixes any registry problems my computer has. Afterwards. I ran it one more time just to be sure it worked. And it said that there are no errors and I do not need to run the registry defrag. I went to the site it sent me to, "Uniblue"... and it said I have 104 registry errors. I'm not too sure about witch one to trust... if either. Does anybody have any suggestions. Should I use one or the other. And witch one do I trust? Or is there another program I should use, that may have better or more accurate results?

Personally I stay away from any of those registry scanners/fixers

The only thing I use is hijackthis, if your registry is correupted or clogged just reinstall the computer and clean everything

but in your case I'd trust the first one.

why do you stay away from them? do they corrupt the system? or are they just unreliable?

I've never had one actually fix anything
