    Well, I wanted a better surge supressor, and also wanted to have more than 2 outlets available to plug into. I could have put 2 of those, but due to the framing in this particular area, I was short on space as it is due to this being the same wall that the air conditioning over-flow condensate drain pipes run down inside, and the framing members.

    But I'll have to remember those outlets for any other needs elsewhere in the house.

    add more insulation and a radiant barrier while you're up there... it will cut down on your AC bill.

    That's definetly on the "to-do" list. Just gotta put my money into other things around the house at the moment. But I really do want to get on that. I know in the long run it will clearly pay for itself.
