Ya. I'm thinking Dry Ice. But dry ice is frozen air. Its actually frozen carbon dioxide.

So when it melts, it vaporizes cuz it never was a liquid. So it goes from SOLID to GAS.

As for Dry Water, there actually is something that scientists are working on, but its nothing more than water with an additive to prevent it from actually getting things wet and being absorbed like a drop of water would on a table or glass. But its still water. Pretty sure Vile is talking about Dry Ice though.

Well actually if you froze driwater (a gelatinous substance consisting of 98% purified water and 2% cellulose gum) when you thawed it out it would still only require the enzymes naturallyoccuring in soil to allow it to break down.
