Thumbs up BATMAN: The Dark Knight (2008)

Movie Title: Batman: The Dark Knight ( 2008 )

    Director: Christopher Nolan

    Rated: PG-13

Genre: Action | Drama | Thriller

    Runtime: 152 minutes

Viewed: Stadium Seating in the far back at a Pacific Theatre

Synopsis: Batman and James Gordon join forces with Gotham's new District Attorney, Harvey Dent, to take on a psychotic bank robber known as The Joker, whilst other forces plot against them, and Joker's crimes grow more and more deadly.

Opinion: I thought the movie was really good. The Joker character was excellent. Not too far over the top, expressions were amazing, and there were so many funny little twisted comments he made throughout that I found very entertaining. Special effects were really good. No real complaints about any of it. Only part that visually seemed off to me was Batman on his motorcycle. Just fealt like he was going really slow. Bringing Two-Face into the movie was a nice twist too. Wasn't expecting that.

I recommend this movie. Not for the little kids, but its a good, solid movie. Nice to finally have a quality movie worth watching. So many movies these days suck ass, and this movie was high quality and worth the Theater ticket price.

Acting (Scale from 1 to 5): for The Joker | for Batman | Overall acting

    Story/Plot (Scale from 1 to 5):

My Overall Rating (Scale from 1 to 5):
"The wheel is turning, but the hamster is dead."

I can't wait to see this one as I was really impressed with Batman Begins.

Ya, forgot about that. Didn't quite understand why or how he was walking the streets again.

I don't think they actually caught him in the last one though did they?

I seem to remember he broke free from the asylum when all the inmates/patients escaped but I don't remember him actually being caught as such.

I can't remember. I just remember Batman giving him some of his own medicine.

I just watched Batman Begins again last week as well and I can't remember...although in my defence I have watched another 15 or so movies since then.
