Thread: 15 minute walk at lunch

Thumbs up 15 minute walk at lunch

So for lunch today, I ate my food like I normally but decided I would go outside and I walked for about 15 minutes.

Its not much, but its a "walk" that isn't the norm for my body during this time of the day, so I figure if I do this everyday at lunch, it will add up at least. Plus help digest the food from lunch a little better instead of just letting it sit in my gut since I currently have a desk job.

Thats good they say start out slow anyway you don't want to do anything dramatic to your body adn go cold turkey on everything you love it will not help it may even hospitalize you which is what happened to my mom when she tried a crash diet.

If you tend to walk the same mount EVERY day an do the same routine EVERY day, odds are your body is used to that. And to lose weight would require "extra" walking or exercise above and beyond unfortunetly.

Do you drink Whole Milk? Try switching to low fat, or better yet to non-fat. If you are used to whole milk, and switch to non-fat, it takes about a week or two to get used to. Or at least it did for me.

But now Whole Milk is too thick and nasty for me. Go figure.

Little things like that can help. Margarine instead of butter

Italian dressing instead of Ranch or 1000 island on your salads. Stuff like that.

if you are having trouble quiting the soda, try drinking soda water when you get the urge for something fizzie, trust me after awhile instead of drinking a full glass you'll be sipping it
