Drinking via WebCam Competition

So reading the latest arcade game tournament title about a Alcohol test, I got the crazy idea of setting a date for a live online webcam with audio type drinking contest. All members pay $2 to join in the contest. We all vote on a common drink and size bottle, and you must have a webcam and a working microphone.

Haven't worked out the details yet, but somehow we see who can last the longest. And maybe give sub-prizes of "funniest", "sexiest", "barf's first" etc etc etc.

Of course one person would have to be sober, or at least sober enough. So I figured that would be WillRiker since he's an Olympic Gold Winner when it comes to drinking, so it wouldn't be fare for the rest of us to compete against him.

Just a thought. Gotta work out how many people have cams and how many have mics, and how many would actually set a date on their calendar to make sure they are available that day/night to compete.

Anyone that has their webcam cut out or internet connection die, etc. is automatically disqualified.

We also all have to take a shot at the same time. That way those that survive, all finish the bottle at the same time. Another way to prevent cheating via the web.

Maybe I could even get MTW shot glasses made and we make the sign-up fee like $5 or whatever it takes. And that way even if you pass out and lose quick, at least you walk away with a souvenier.

Share some thoughts here people. The way people participate, this might never be able to actually happen cuz you're all bastards.

But you can always surprise me. Maybe we can cross-promote this with other websites and get a huge turnout. Maybe I can get Gigposters.com people to join in. Who knows.

I don't drink. And I know not everyone was hard drinkers, but figured if we somehow record the competition, it could be a hilarious moment in MTW history.

And as for the cheating, we'd have to pick a drink that came wrapped at the cap. And everyone unwraps 1 at a time so we avoid switch-a-roo's. We'd have to work out the details.

I agree with Mommy, I don't drink that much. Also, how do you know if everywhere has the same kind of alcohol- just cuz Cali has it doesn't mean Canada, England or even Iowa has the same thing.

*I did think of you Morty the other day, a radio station had 5 contestants and they each had a gallon of milk and whoever drank it first won provided that they kept it down. They had people throwing up, it was nasty. Yet, very funny.

Like I said, we'd have to work this thing out and find common drinks around the world sort of thing. I'm sure there is something out there.

Was a just a thought. We could do it on a Saturday so we'd be feeling better come Monday.
