    Movie Title: See No Evil

    Director: Gregory Dark

    Rated: 18 (UK) R (US)

    Genre: Horror

    Runtime: 84 Minutes

Viewed: In My Chair watching the TV Screen

Synopsis: A group of delinquents are sent to clean the Blackwell Hotel. Little do they know reclusive psychopath Jacob Goodnight has holed away in the rotting hotel. When one of the teens is captured, those who remain -- a group that includes the cop who put a bullet in Goodnight's head four years ago -- band together to survive against the brutal killer.

Opinion: This was the first movie from WWE Films and starts Glen Jacobs (Kane) in the role of psychopathic killer Jacob Goodnight. He was pretty much perfect for the role as he looked the part before any make up was ever applied.

Truthfully, if you like horror movies that have their tongue firmly planted in their cheek then you'll probably like this movie. I mean it's not so much a B-Movie as a C or D movie, but that was intentional as it was supposed to be a throwback to the corny horror movies of the late 70s and early 80s, such as the Halloween & Friday 13th style.

It is still quite gory however, and some of the was in which Jacob dispatches his victims are way over the top and Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers would have been proud.

All in all a graphic, fun, but not very good movie, but it delivers what it says, horror and gore, just with an all too familiar storyline and not very good acting, (other than for Glen Jacobs who has been perfecting this role for the last 10 years inside the wrestling ring).

I find that for most movies based on books though.

I'm a huge Stephen King & Dean Koontz fan and have yet to see a Movie that was as good as the book. I think the nearest was the Green Mile, I still preferred the book, but the Movie was close.

True I think it is easier to be there in books cause they give every little detail....Movies edit half the shit !!

Read Battlefield Earth, then watch the movie... After seeing at the theatre you'd have sworn they took your money as a bad joke commited unto you...
