Thread: New Explorer browser

  1. #1

    Question New Explorer browser

Ok so I downloaded the new Explorer browser yesterday and have noticed that it goes whacky once in awhile.

    1. It freezes up several times if I just let it set without doing anything
    2. My mouse just takes off across the screen once in awhile

Is this common with this new browser or is it just me? Are there different settings I need to check on or should I dump it and go back to the old browser?

    Re: New Explorer browser

well first of all congratulations on being able to download IE7 all by yourself

    the mouse thing is normal

as for the freezing up, I had this happen twice, One computer didn't have enough Ram and the other computer just needed the microsoft updates.

Have you done all the updates?
How much Ram do you have?

IE7 is far superior to the old browser, I have 8 home pages that open up as soon as I open IE, it makes things quicker for me

    2. Morty would know if I have enough Ram better than I would...........I am certain that I do but maybe I am wrong.

    3. As for the updates, I haven't seen any pop ups telling me to do any more updates. Is there some where I should be looking for them?

    Re: New Explorer browser

click on tools> windows updates and that will load the update page, then check for updates

the mouse thing is normal if you have a optical or wireless mouse, they are working on it
