    Question Deleting programs

My pc is running alot of programs at once, which is causing alot of problems, and I know I have programs that run that I dont even need on here. My question is how do I tell what I need to keep and what I can delete?

You really need to change your image signature. I can't even make it through your question without pausing for another look.

Seriously, I'll return with a better answer shortly, but for starters, when you hit START>PROGRAMS>STARTUP, anything listed there DOES NOT need to be loading on your PC. Those progs want to be preloaded ahead of time so if and when you may use them, they will start up faster. But seriously, what's another 2-5 seconds of load time if its causing your PC to slow down ALL the time.

Also, have you been a nut and installed tons of fonts in your PC? More fonts mean a slower PC. Also, do you use Outlook on your PC but do NOT use MSN instant messenger? Cuz messenger loads itself due to Outlook even if you don't have or use a MSN account.

Also, if you know how to do a screen capture, hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE and screen capture the stuff on the PROCESSES list and reply with those pics.

Feel free to use the your personal album in the gallery to load up these pics and then link back to that gallery and we'll look at those pics there.

    Re: Deleting programs

A much better way is to click start, run...and type in msconfig and then when it opens the box click startup and go through the list. Everything that is on that list is running on the background of your comp all of the time and 90% of it is not needed...all you realy need is "load power profile"(there should be two items that say that) and "load qm" and then click apply and then click ok...it will then tell you it needs to reboot and when it does it will tell you that you are using sselective startup.

but be warned, this will turn off your antivirus and everything else, but then you can turn on only what you want by manually starting those programs such as the antivirus and cam and whatever else you want.
I used to have problems, then I got an attitude and now there are bodies where the problems used to be....

not to disagree with you Tattoo but you do not need load power profile or load qm, those are the 2 I always remove first
