hey, good question.....i agree.
There isn't a limit on signatures, and there isn't much reason to have a bigger avatar unless you have small font type in it, in which case 200x200 isn't going to help much.

I didn't say yes or no, I just gave my opinion.

You know, Morty has answered this before, but for the life of me I can't find the post. It may have been lost in one of the forum upgrades down the years.
Anyways, not wanting to speak for the boss, but if I remember rightly, before we switched to vbulletin the avatar size used to be bigger, (something along the lines of 100x100 or 120x120), but when we switched to vbulletin and the new layout it was downsized to 80x80 as Morty didn't want the avatars to become the main focus of the posts (or something like that)
Anyways, as I can't find the original post anymore, I'll leave it to him to answer.

Will about nailed it. Couple reasons I'm against bigger avatars.
- Bigger avatars mean more space taken up on the page.
- More space taken up on pages mean more useless scrolling of pages
- Bigger avatars (stored on my server) mean more bandwidth.
- Bigger avatars mean slower load times of pages
- Bigger avatars mean avatars become a bigger focus
- Majority of people have their PCs at 800x resolution which means they are short on screen space as it is.

Can someone please tell me how to make one and post it?
