Images in Your Posts

Want to include an image in your post? Its simple!

INCLUDING AN IMAGE
Click the IMG button, then paste the URL of the image, and then click the IMG button again. Should end up looking something like this:

[ img ] http: //www .SITENAME .com /ImageName.jpg [ /img ]

When you click the SUBMIT button, the image will be displayed. Please, when doing this, use the URL of images that are located on your own image storing site, personal website, or MTW. Don't hotlink, its not fair to the other person hosting the image.

INCLUDING AN IMAGE THAT YOU ALSO ATTACHED
This is for when you have let's say, 5 paragraphs of text. But between paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 you want to have an image displayed to help out your post visually.

Go down to the ADD AN ATTACHMENT box below the MESSAGE BODY box and browse for the file, select it, then click the ADD ATTACHEMENT button. It will upload the file to the site and your post, but not actually complete your "posting process". After its been "attached" click the attached file, which should be displaying as a text link down by the attachement box. Image will open in a new window. RIGHT CLICK - COPY the URL of the image, then close that and come back to your post. Wherever you want the image displayed within your text post, put your cursor, then click the IMG button, RIGHT CLICK -> PASTE the URL of the image, then click the IMG button again. When you submit your post, the image should be displayed. Only do this if you are trying to put the images among paragraphs of text or you are part of the MTW RAMBLER's Group.

ATTACHING AN IMAGE
When creating a new post, just under the MESSAGE BODY box you will see 2 boxes. FILENAME with the BROWSE button next to it and the FILE COMMENT with the ADD ATTACHMENT button next to it.

If the image you want to attach to your post is on your PC, click the BROWSE button and hop around your PC and find the image file. If you want to, you can add a comment to go with that image. But its not required.

POSTING OF COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL IS CAUSE TO BE BANNED FROM THE SITE. WE DO NOT TOLERATE IT DUE TO POSSIBLY BEING SUED BY THE PROPER OWNERS.
