Avatars -- Image thingy next to your name in the post.

What's an Avatar? See the little image to the left here? Of my head? That's an avatar. Its basically an icon people use to visually represent themselves.

If you are a member and logged in, click the UserCP link which can be found in the horizontal menu just above my post here, on the left side.

It will take you to YOUR own CONTROL PANEL. On this page you can update password, correct the time zone offset for where you live, and upload an avatar.

All the links are pretty self explanatory.

Click the EDIT AVATAR link and then follow the onscreen instructions and make sure to hit SAVE CHANGES when you are all done. Feel free to post here if you have any questions.

because .. unless u sent it to an admin to put on.. its like deactivated or sumthing.. send the animated file to a admin and they should hook u up i think

yes you can, go into your user control panel on here and click on avatar, then it will give you the option to upload an avatar from your own computer, however you might have to resize it, the size is in there.

Only problem seems to be with animated avatars. They don't tend to work unless an admin uploads them....I think...or was that resolved, I forget?
