Goodbye Uncle Pagano

We scattered the ashes of my uncle in law Joe Pagano (LA-died in 2002)here yesterday, He wanted them scattered on the hill overlooking the site where His parents house used to be, They lived here for a short while after moving from Italy, And He came back here for several months in the late-50's, Taking my Aunt back to the US with Him, Although He did a few bad things in His life, He always made everyone feel really welcome and I can remember visiting Him in 1996 and being treated like His own son, He also talked to Me on the phone every second day for almost 6 months after My parents died, He will be missed by Me and the rest of the family.

Other than that happening things have been pretty good recently, My girlfrien moved in over the long weekend, it finally rained and I've had lots of friends and family (13 Italians!!) to entertain for the last few days, so hopefully now I should have a bit more time to spend on here!

Sorry to hear about the uncle. What does (LA-died in 2002) mean? That in reference to him? If so, why'd it take 3 years? Not trying to be disrespectful, just curious.

Hope things work out well with the GF now that she's moved in. She'll be starting to tighten the lid on the jar soon.

He lived in Los Angeles (Or just above anyway) And died in 2002, It took 3 years because of a family argument about where the ashes should be scattered, until i managed to find the letter he wrote to me in early 2002

Not 100% Sure, I've Never Driven There, Only Been Driven, Its About 30-45min Out Of The Actual City, Big Houses On Big Sections (5-6 Acres) I'm Not Sure Really, He Liked To Keep Himself Quite Isolated From Large Groups Of People That He Didn't Know

13 Italians in the same house...I bet there is no shortage of food. Nice to know that the arguments over the final resting place have been put to rest as well.
