| Brief Vacation I just got back from a three day vacation and I thought it would take me a couple of hours to catch up on the goings on, but it seems that either nobody can think of anything intelligent to say (not like anyone ever has) or iron pup has scared you all away. Anyway, My wfe and I were supposed to go on a cruise for our 10th wedding aniversary, but that wasn't gonna happen so we decided to get away to Banff for the weekend. For those of you that are not world travelled Banff is a major tourist get away in the Alberta Rocky Mountains. We did the tourist thing a little, we went for a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. We were at an elevation of 8044 ft, you could see for miles. It was very very cool. We didn't get a chance to check out the Hot springs cause the lines were just to long. After lunch today at the fairmont Banff springs Hotel,(very frikken nice, if you ever get the chance check it out, awsome food and it is an old castle) we went to check out the Hoo Doos. These are basically sand formations that have been left behind while the dirt around it has been washed away. They were not exactly as exciting as they are made out to be, but we did almost hit a deer while driving down the moutain road so it was an exciting get away. Anyway it's good to be home.

| KING OF MEAN | Re: Brief Vacation the Alberta Rocky Mountains. Why do all the Canadian's feel that they have to justify their existance by adding some Canadian town in front of a mountain range? :P Can't they just be the Rocky Mountians that reach from Colorado to Canada. [/quote] |

Alberta is not a canadian Town it is a province. Bigger than a state, smaller than a country. We specify The Alberta Rockies Because they also run through British Columbia. I was trying to give everyone an idea of where to look on the map to find it if they wanted to look it up. While we are talking about naming things....How come it is called the United States of America? It is not The United States of America, It is some united States of America, There are two other countries sharing America with you pompus twits.

| Your Twisted Leader | ![]() Yes. I am a retard. I meant Italian. Not sure why I went with French. And as for the sky lift, I didn't know those were called that too. Another lesson learned. I need to read more or something. Damn it.
