Ups and downs

Well it has been one heck of a week.

My old boss, the ones that laid me off because they couldn't afford me, have signed a contract with me that gives me the same wage I was making from them, and I only have to work 40 hours a month. Hehehe I love free enterprise.

On a sad note we found out that the little girl we were foster to adopting is leaving us and going to another family. The mothers public guardian insisted on finding a family for the little girl that would bring her mom into the household as a part of the family. We just weren't able to take in a 30 something woman that has the mind of a 5 year old. So we will be saying good bye to her next week. She has only been here for 3 1/2 months but she really integrated well with our family. So we will be going back on the list to get another child but probably not until the new year.

It has been a week of ups and downs. but hey if life was boring it wouldn't be worth it. I've just gotta decide tommorrow if I am going to decorate the yard for All Hallows Eve. Our snow is mostly gone so I could set up my grave yard complete with a yellow police line to lead the trick or treaters into the yard and turn on the spooky music.

but she is still with us. It seems there is a lot of legal crap going on and there is a 1 in 50 chance that she may be staying with us after all
