Except for a few funny pictures I have posted or maybe a quick response to some thread I haven't said much lately and I know that most of you were relieved I wasn't around. Sort of had a strange few months........my job is going very well and is in it's final 3 months which means that time is running out and there is still a lot to get done but overall it has been a great job for me and I really looked good running this one with the help of my project manager and team.
On a sad note though..........I have a younger cousin that I wasn't all that close to because we were so far apart in age but still we knew each other and he was fun to be around when we did get together at family gatherings. His name is Jay and a few years ago Jay got involved with drugs and was really having a hard time kicking them. About 2 months ago he finally asked for help from his mom ( who is my aunt) and she placed him in rehab in Colorado. He completed rehab and was suppose to be the best man at his older brother's wedding in June but Jay slipped up after rehab and was found dead from an overdose............What a waste!
I have never done drugs so I just can't understand why people can't quit but it doesn't really matter now. His brother Ryan is crushed and has chosen not to have a best man at his wedding. In this same week, my aunt found out that her husband has prostrate cancer and the Dr's had given him a few months to live. Talk about a full plate of trouble to deal with. Well come to find out the Dr had misspoken.........my uncle has more than a couple of months to live......in fact he has several options that can be taken and he may beat it yet.......Fucking DR's!!!!!!!!!!!
This last weekend my little family went on our first and probably last roadtrip to Vegas to see another cousin of mine get married. Kristine and Chang tied the knot at Ceasars Palace in a nice little outside garden. I highly recommend that if you're planning on getting married "Do it in Vegas".......they do everything for you and all you have to do is pick a package that you like and it is all done. My wife and I got married in Vegas...............Holy Shit!!!!!!! It has almost been 7 years now
Well my daughters had a blast driving me and the wife crazy........new surroundings seem to turn them into little monsters
I will probably look back at the trip and laugh some day..........just not today
It's nice to live 4 hours from a place like Vegas.
So now that some of these things are taken care of maybe now I can find time to send Morty the money for my lifetime membership so it never runs out again and some prick changes my title to "King of the pyramid scheme".........
