| As you know, im all away across the pond in China. The only best way to communicate with my family and friends, is sadly msn, email and facebook and the likes. Last year in July, i got an email from my sister, telling me my Granddad had passed on. I felt like shit as finding out something so sad, i was on my own as i read it, had no one there when i was reading this news, and generally felt depressed that i couldnt be there to comfort my mum and family. Yes i have my husband here, and at the time, he was cheating on me and didnt give a rats ass (i found this out at xmas). So i had no one. So last night im on msn, 4am my time, and i was very tired and about to sign off. Then pops up my dad. Told me my dog (well its my mums dog now but ive watched/played with her growing up for 10years), well our dog had to have an operation Tuesday night, but didnt think she would pull through which was why he told me only last night. Her uterus got swollen and was bleeding, apparently my mum thought she was pregnant, but it was an infection. So the vet had to operate. They charged 300GBP, which my mum could not afford, so she had to ask her brother, and he took it out the money their dad (my g-dad) left them in the Will! I've never cried so much over a pet. Its mainly because i feel so helpless over here, i cant help finacially, i cant comfort my mum. I think to myself 'Why am i crying over a dog' its weird how im so emotional. So it made me think, is this really the future of communication? Its got to the point that i cant physically talk to my family about news, but through computers and text, how sad am i But before that bad news, my other bad luck i had yesturday, that after 3 years, my nintendo DS decided to break, the top screen doesnt work if i open the DS all the way back. Which is just typical! Its the only thing that keeps me sane when i cant use the computer while inlaws are on it. So the only way i can play it, is if i dont open the DS as much which is stupid. Im so annoyed.

| Re: Future of bad news Haley I'm sorry for the problems you are facing I hope they get better soon !!! As for the pet. It is not just an animal he has become part of your family so of course you are gonna be upset.. 10 years is a long time to have a pet in your life. I know if it was mine I would be hysterical !! Hope things look up for you soon

| Great White Dope | Re: Future of bad news I think MTW should start a money drive for you to get you a ticket out of there and back to the UK, or at least a new DS. Just my thought's. Know how you feel with being so far away from loved ones. We were lucky that we got to see my grandmother in good spirits before she passed away. The crappy part was we where just there and if we had stayed like to weeks longer we could have been there for her passing and funeral. Keep your head up kiddo! |

As for everything else Hayley...it totally fucking sucks, but you know I'm online most of the night and as you're time zone is outta sync with the UK pretty much if you ever need to chat you know I'm usually either on here or Xtreme...but you know how to get a hold of me if you just wanna vent at someone and get it off your chest (marvellous chest that it is... ---------- ![]() You know I just thought about what you said and what I typed and basically you'd be doing just the same...talking to someone, except not really...although I do that with most people as well..even though I'm in the UK..go figure. | |

| Re: Future of bad news My hubby phoned me today(hes at the other house), i must have the most un-sympathetic husband in the world, when i told him about my dog, the only thing he could say was "So its just a dog, I ate dog meat yesturday" Aww at the money drive, its not money thats really an issue, well the stock shares are to blame too. Its just my husband hes never been reliable at anything. E.G when i found out i was coming to China, it was like 2 days before my flight, and it was so rushed. Aww my sister has just been on msn and sent me this picture of my dog, least shes home now. ![]()
