Some good redneck fun!

So, my bestfriend calls me today and says she is going to go to her parents house and take the 4x4 out with the sled attached to the back (we got 6 inches of snow yesterday) and invited my kids and I along.

I was all for this bit of fun! We arrived at her parents around 6:30 tonight and the babies were first. Her little one will be one this month. He really liked it, we went very slow and noone fell off.

My son was next, he's 20 months old. He got all of 5 feet before he bailed. He thinks we're all crazy ass white people who need to learn to entertain themselves in some other manner that will not harm his precious little body!

Then my daughter went (she's 6)! Boy was she having fun, she hung on over ramps and everything. I was actually impressed with her, it was a proud momma moment for me.

Then it was my turn. Okay, I've been on the back of a few 4x4, driven one occasionally, but never in the snow, and definately never attached to a sled on a 20 foot long rope.

OH THE JOY!!

I haven't laughed that hard in a loooong time! My friend knocked my ass off 3 separate times! Didn't hurt, but I know once I saw snow, sky, snow, sky then poof, on my back! With all the fluffy snow nothing hurt except my fingers and toes, because I don't have good shoes or gloves. But it was well worth it! If ever given the opportunity it's a must do!
