Should I be shot?

So as I pulled into my jobsite today I see that they have all the barricades at each intersection ready for the yearly MLK Ave. march, which just happens to run on one side of the project I am working on. Well being the redneck and prankster that I am I thought it might be funny if I went to the store and bought a dozen or so watermellons and then set up a stand on the sidewalk and offered free snacks for all those hungry marchers do you think someone might be offended and possibly shoot me?

I mean I would give it away for free..............not like I was charging them for it and I am sure they would like the snack don't you think? I think that it would be a good way to lighten the mood and make some of the people even laugh.

Well, after I suggested it to my wife what I planned to do she thought that it really wasn't a good idea even though after I called Morty and he said it was funny as hell............... Decisions, decisions

So the question stands............how many people think my idea is funny and should be done next year?

You wouldnt get shot for watermelon... if you had watermelon AND Kool-Aid though, they'd defiantely think something was up and you would be much more likely to be shot. Anyhow I think you should definately do it, some people just might think its funny, but who would pass up free watermelon... especially on a MLK walk?
