I am really sorry to hear about your Friday Jezza. When I was about 10 I choked on a pen lid but thankfully my dad managed to get it out just in the nick of time. I can remember the feeling of choking though like it were yesterday. I thought all pen lids now came with a small hole in the top to allow air through!

I thought that as well about the holes in the lids, and I think all biro style pens do, but things like "Sharpie" style marker pens don't so I guess it could be one of those types.

No doubt Jezza will find out next week what it actually was, someone is bound to know.
