1.PS2 didn't own last gen, if it did then there wouldn't be an X-Box or Gamecube and Wii doesn't own this gen.

3.I think the price of the PS3 is right, think of all the stuff it does. I've heard as well that there's a cheaper toned down model which I think means it dosen't have all the fancy extras.

I know a way around if you work for them or not. I'm not saying much but search ROMS and Emulators.
