Well it looks like the oilers have pushed the playoff's to a one game winner take all series. Thanks god it is in Carolina instead of here, We really don't need the riot that would happen here.

Hell the game ended before 9 pm and it is currently 10:15 and people are still lining the street and waving flags and honking. This city is a madhouse!!!

I'll do my next Podcast Monday night around 9pm (or later if there is overtime) either it'll be from Party central or the dead zone!

Hopefully you Won't be able to hear me over the honking and cheering!!!!!

I was amazed by the Oilers playing last night. For being the "underdog" they sure did dominate that one, seems to be that yesterday was a day for underdogs in sports though (look at the chech. game!). I imagine Carolina will come out HARD on the oilers right from the start now that they are really in danger of loosing the cup, should be an incredible game.

Seeing the way Carolina played in the last couple of games, I don't think they have the gas to come out hard they look really tired and they are being out hit, They are really going to have to work it and you know that the Oilers are going to come out hitting and shooting even better than last night.

Sports have a funny way of working out. Carolina had a lead in the games, you'd think this would fire up a team, but they got to comfy and relaxed. Felt it was theirs and didn't have to work for it. Edmonton, seeing they were about to lose got a 2nd wind that they really needed and brought it hard. Both teams are tired, but now both are in a win-lose situation, and both teams know that there is no tomorrow, nothing to save your energy for. Yes the Oilers were out hitting Carolina, and Carolina was playing way to conservative in such an important match, but Carolina appears to have faster and slightly better players as opposed to bigger and stronger like Edmonton. That could make a differance once you add the energy knowing it's win or go home to the mix. (A little guy hitting you at high speed hurts just as much) I'm not saying they are going to win, it's very likely Edmonton will have an amazing come back, and they deserve it the way they've been playing, but I wouldn't count Carolina out based on the last 2 games. That's why I think this is going to be a good match.

And will, I'm acctually kind of surprised I can even get the czech refferance, I never watch the world cup but it just so happened to be the only thing on my 8 channels of TV that wasn't golf or the god channel. Even so I was still aware it was an upset, I mean, who the fuck is Ghana anyway?
