Should I close the current forum on the change over?

Alright everyone, the new forum script can snag all of the current posts and info and make it work. Problem being, is from the moment I snag everything and bring it over to the new one, any new posts made here will be lost. So what do you want me to do?

Option A:
When I think I'm ready, I'll shut down the current forum and you'll get a FORUM IS CLOSED type message and you won't have access to the forum. This may take several hours or if I hit a snag, might be a day before you can access the new forums.

Option B:
Allow you to keep posting away unaware that the new forum is about to kick in. Any posts made from the moment I snag the data and convert it to the new forum and when you have access to the new forum will be lost.

So which is it? Please vote.
