MTW Members Meet In Person in 2006?

What does everyone think about meeting somewhere in say 2005 or 2006? Figure its enough time for everyone to save up some money for it.

Some places that CableMonkey, myself and Irondog were thinking are:

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Disneyland in California, USA
DisneyWorld in Florida, USA
A Hawaiian Island, USA
Public Park here in California which would allow me to setup the event a little better and coordinate food since so many people would be traveling and can't bring the food.
CableMonkey's new house in Austin, Texas
Will Riker's neighborhood in the UK
In between Layni's big tits

These are just a few ideas. Have any more locations that we might want to consider?

Would you even bother to show up?

Not too long ago I wasn't interested in meeting any of you. Happy with everyone just being friends here on MTW and that's it. But now I think the group we have here would be interesting to meet. At least for a day and wherever we decide to meet, those that had to travel far to get there can make a full vacation out of it.

Just an idea. What's everyone think?

I would be up for a trip to california, I think it'd be cool. The park idea would probably be the best so we could at least all talk.

I figure if we have it here in California, I can help plan and coordinate the event better. Especially if its at a park or something I can take care of ensuring we have food and stuff.

I think this is a great idea. It might have to be done in two shifts. I would be able to get to most of the US places, as long as the super-sensitive US officials don't get too super-sensitive. I personally love Disneyland but the idea of a park where the food etc could be arranged would be good too. I think your final suggestion would prove problematic; I'm not sure how much Layni would appreciate all the tramping about.

The second event may have to be in another part of the world. Except for the UK, I would have difficulty getting there. Money is sort of tight--always. I'd make a real good effort though.

as for the Mad cow infected meat, Just remember all the infected animals have been found south of the border, they may have been from Canada but you guys owned them and if Ironpup was anywhere near them then no wonder they went mad.

We should meet in the spring or fall, preferably the fall so people can save up money.

How about Tuesday, July 4th, 2006? And if we do it somewhere in the United States, we can make sure its a place that has a firework show? Plenty of parks around here in California that have firework shows.

Was also thinking, we could probably get a discount on car rentals if we coordinate it well enough and everyone uses one rental company.

Also was trying to think of a way that maybe we could do a fund raiser here on MTW. Or I get something going on in here that makes some money and we split it evenly across everyone and the percentage I would get I would just use towards food, utensils and stuff.

Just some ideas. Might be able to gather some decent coin by 2006.
