What better time for a promotional prize draw?

Here's how this is going to work.

For the entire month of July 2008 anyone and everyone that either buys an MTW Premium Membership or renews an existing one will be entered into a Prize Draw on August 1st 2008.

The winner of the draw will win an MTW Plush Teddy Bear with a retail value of $14.49, from the MTW Cafepress Store.

Now the boring small print......

To qualify to enter the Competition you must purchase an MTW Premium Membership, ($10), between Tuesday 1st July 2008 & Thursday 31st July 2008.

Employees of MTW or any company involved in the Competition or, if relevant, production of a television programme to which a Competition relates, or any advertising agency or web company connected with MTW or any such person’s subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are eligible to enter the Competition.

MTW reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

Competition entries must be made in the manner and by the closing date specified on the Competition Notice. Failure to do so will disqualify the entry.

Prize winners will be chosen at random, using a randomiser web site and videoed to show full transparency of the proceedings, unless specified otherwise in the Competition Notice, from all qualifying Entries within 2 days of the closing date specified in the Competition Notice.

Prizes are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. MTW reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and MTW reserves the right to use the username of the winners, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.

You don't need a second membership you can extend the one you currently have by 1 year for $10 and that counts just the same.

That's why the rules state...

Nope...in the normal world it would and should say ineligible....but this is no ordinary world..it's Morty's Twisted World and in this world anyone that pays their $10 Premium, or any members of their families, are eligible to enter.

I was curious if anyone would pick up on that..

I don't see why not.

Every $10 towards the running and upkeep of this marvellous website will earn you 1 entry into the draw.

Well to date we have 2 people in this draw so far.

I'll be sending a mass e-mail out this weekend to see if we can't get some more Premium members to jump on in.

So I there is no way my video site will be up and running in time for to work with this, but we are gong to be including a show called "live from the internetz" in which a couple of our staff will be talking about several cool things on the net each week. Next promotion you guys plan to do hopefully we can maybe give it a plug.

Not a problem at all.

I'm using the cash generated from the picture galleries to pay for prizes to promote MTW so there'll be more on the way so let me know once you're up and running and we'll work something out.
