Well, in my case.

My wife will be saying so much and bouncing around on topic so much that my brain just kinda quits listening. Even though I don't mean to quit comprehending. Then she'll say something I'm suppose to respond to and I'm lost and can't reply well enough to cover up the fact my brain shut off.

But as for yelling back at you about it, I can't really help with that because I go quite when I'm angry. Wife goes verbal, I go silent. So yelling isn't something I'd do unless the bullshit goes too far. Then i speak up.

And as for grudges, Women think they forgive but definetly never forget. Its just in your nature. You'll remember the moment perfectly when a man fucks up. Men I don't think care enough to remember shit from that far back.

We think we recall events, but its very inaccurate I believe.

As for the last part about your opinion not mattering, it all depends I guess on what the opinion is about. Cuz there are certain things I'm going to do and its not up for discussion.

But I know my opinion doesn't matter. I may be asked my opinion. I may give my opinion. My wife may listen to my opinion. She may comment and discuss my opinion. But in the end, she goes her way. My opinion really didn't matter. This is especially true when we try and decide on whats for dinner.

Okay so I'm so with you on this one.. I sometimes go from one thing to the next and lose Jason on the "but dear" .. I can get over this no problem..

As for the opinion thing. It is true some things both people are gonna do anyways.. However we have been together for 15 years and I have on numerous occasions suggested to him to do something one way and he does the opposite and things have tottally gotten screwed. For example when we lived in Austin Tx he got a notice that a warrent was being issued for his arrest. I tell him to call them so he can go to court and take care of it. No 3 weeks later he had done nothing. Well in that time he had renewed his truck driving license. However it never came in the mail. I tell him DO NOT go to the DPS as they are gonna arrest him and that is why they never mailed his license. Does he listen NO. So I get a call from jail and I have to go get the car before they tow it [and this is with two babies I have to walk about three miles] Then I have to go downtown and pay 500.00 dollars to bail his ass out. And he lost his job.

It is shit like this that makes me mad as in 15 years he still thinks I am wrong and it doesnt matter til things get fuckered and I have to fix it. When if he would have just listened in the first place it would have worked out.....

Men are men and don't like to be told what to do. Period. Its tough for men to break down and listen and follow that advice. We tend to listen to a MALE friend but if it comes from our wife/gf, we listen to it, think about it, but often figure, "Ahh, it will be fine. This should work."

Its a flaw men have. But hey, I guess we have to have at least one.

I wish it was just one.. But I also have my flaws.. I guess the biggest one being that I am the first to compromise and if Jason asks me not to do something I do not do it out of respect for him !!! Maybe to make a point I should go get the piercing I've wanted for 5 years but not done cause he asked me not to ... That would teach him huh ??
