What would you do?

So on January 22nd I happened to be watching TV and saw this commercial for what is called "Reflex".........it's an RC heicopter that fits in the palm of your hand and just looked cool as hell............so I ordered one. I thought it would be fun as hell to play with in the backyard and since I have been visiting the local hobby store I thought this would be a good and cheap way to see if I wanted to get into these RC helicopters as a hobby. This one costs about $69 and concidering what the other ones I have been checking out are closer to $400 and up would be a good idea to get this one first.

So here's my question...........I made the order and saw that for an extra $10 I could get it in 5 to 7 work days instead of waiting 6 to 8 weeks for it. Well it has been 11 work days so tonight I called the 800 number and the person at Reflex told me it will be another 2 weeks until I get mine because they are trying to fill backorders...........WTF!!!!!!!!!!! I was pissed and told her that I was. Why should I pay an extra $10 to expidite the order and then have to wait longer than what their add says?

She informed me that I will not be charged the extra money to expidite the order but am I the only one out there that thought it would be nice to recieve an e-mail saying that they are having problems filling orders and that even with the extra charge doesn't mean that it will arrive in 5 to 7 days?

Isn't that false advertising?

Yep...seems like more and more companies don't give a shit about customer service and letting people know what's going on.

You are a valued customer right up until they have your cash...then you are nothing more than a number in the system that they couldn't care dick about.

Yes I agree they should of emailed you saying that they are back ordered then they should have told you as a courtesy they would not be charging you the 10. to expidited the order...But what can you do maybe they are emailing people b ut they are so backed up they havnt even got to yours yet..Me and my dad used to build rc helicopters and fly them in California city as a hobby when I was a teen !! It was a blast........... Your daughters will love them too !!!!

I am going to outfit this one with this cool little mini cam I found so I can fly it over the neighbors yard when the wife is out sunbathing in the backyard...........might get lucky and catch her turning over topless

send an email to a higher up in the company, they might give you your order free or get it shipped out immediately.

Also complain to the better business bureau

They probably did email you but when you supplied your email address you must of forgot the letter L

But conSidering the fact you aren't getting charged, you can't be too pissed.
