It's a sign of youth. When I was a teen it always came up at the wrong time. That's why young guys wear their T shirt on the outside of their pants. I wish someone had explained that to me, in those days.

I have always worn baggy shirt, but not for that reason. I wear a hooded sweatshirt and put my hands in the pockets for that reason ;p
And I guess it is a sign of youth, because once you get older it doesn't come up at all, much less the wrong time
