Well I went with Any other amount but only for a couple of reasons...

1) I don't eat out...fuck I barely leave the house as it is, I'm not about to leave it to go eat now am I?

2) Tipping over here certainly doesn't seem to be as big an issue as it is the the US as far as I'm aware, (like I said, I don't eat out), and I think it tends to be only the "bigger, posher" restaurants that tips are generally left to the customers discretion, I think most other places automatically include a 15 or 20% service charge to the bill when you get it...but like I said, i could be wrong about that...but I don't think I am.

most places dont add the tip unless its a fancy one..
and when your only getting paid 2.13 an hour tips are a big deal
but if you get in the right place you can make really good money, i just quit my job today becouse of some bs with the place so im gonna try to get a job serving at a comdey club in town . wish me luck!

Minimum wage in the UK right now is £5.52 which at todays exchange rates is $10.83 and it's illegal to pay less than that, it's not like you can just take a job and accept less than minimum wage as it's against the law.

So the solution is to move to the UK lil.

I tip acording to service.. 20 to 25 percent is the norm for us... But if the service suck and they are rude and unattentive then they get less. It is rare we do not leave a tip at all it you have to literaaly tell me to get bent or something to get nothing {its happened} For severs here the minimum wage is less as they account for the tips amiright?

I think it takes a certain kind of person to be a waiter/waitress as I could not imagine having someone yell at me cause their food sucked... That person just brings your food and waits your table.. But when we go out I always hear people ripping on thier server cause thier food taste like ass... If this happens to me I ask to speak to the cook or manager as the server is not at fault yaknow ????

20% is the usual. If I have great service, they get a great tip. If the service is bad (and it has to be pretty damn bad) they get nothing. I (like Mommy) knows the waitresses aren't responsible for the "ass" food they serve. It's their job to serve the "ass" food to us with a smile!

heh i always blame it on the kitchen if the food order is messed up and thell them the cooks are cant read or are stupid hahaha or i get a manager. and your right its not our faults but oh well people to seem to think it is......

yeah we deff dont get min wage it would rock if we were actually getting paid min wage plus tips but we dont just 2.13 and the place i just quit you dont even see that you just work for tips. but hopefully ill get the job at the comedy club and be bringing home alot of $ plus ill get to see all the acts!
