I agree, I wasn't "having a go" at you or anything. I'm the same that unless I have some kind of proof or evidence I have a real hard time believing anything of that nature.
I mean I believe that it's incredibly unlikely that we are the only planet anywhere that has life on it..there just has to be more, but until I have absolute hard evidence of the fact I'm not gonna fully believe it, and that's like Religion.
I have no problem with people believing in religion if that's what helps them get through the day, as long as they don't try to force their beliefs on me without some kind of hard evidence to back it up. Having faith isn't evidence and a book of fairy tales from around 2000 years ago isn't proof either. The Grimm Brothers wrote stories too about fantastical beings that did wonderful things and no-one believes that those stories are real so why do they believe the Bible?? Does my head in..
Actually I'm gonna record a podcast tomorrow that is all about humans & "God" so no doubt that will upset a few people...
Anyhoo...on this one I went with I believe there was but no more...and by that I mean a living organism..i don't necessarily mean humanoid life forms, but I do believe that at some point in history Mars has supported life.
