This weeks question is really out of curiosity more than anything else. It's quite simple really and not intended to be "racist" in any way, shape or form.

Basically which of the above terms do you think should be applied to someone who comes into your Country without going through the correct legal channels??

And I don't just mean Mexicans into the US here, I mean any Nationality coming to your Country without going through the proper legal process. In the UK right now it's Polish people that are coming here en-mass.

So which of the terms do you think is the correct one to use in the PC, bullshit World that we all now inhabit??

This one is good. I'm gonna have to think about it for awhile, I think Undocumented Immigrant is too long, we'll just start calling them UI's then all I'll be able to think is urinary tract infection. And Illegal Alien is too nice. Leech comes to mind right away.........and I don't mean people who pay into the system and contribute to this country. I mean the ones who are undocumented and working here, under the table, therefore bypassing taxes and all other government issues.

Well I went with Illegal Alien and I shall explain why.

It is the law of any given Country that you must go through the correct channels in order to gain entry into that country. If it's the law...and you then break that law by "sneaking in", then that, by it's very nature...is illegal.

The fact that the person is not a native of the Country that they have chosen to enter by breaking the law means that they are Alien to the environment....

Therefore, if they have entered by breaking the law and belong to another place, person or Country, they are an Illegal Immigrant.

Doesn't matter how much spin anyone tries to put on it by using fancy terms. In the English Language, that is an accurate description of what they are.

I only asked this out of my own curiosity. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm all for people coming to other Countries and such, just as long as they follow the system and the law.

Pisses me off every time I hear bleeding heart types saying that using the term Illegal alien is racist and that they are "Undocumented Immigrants".

Then again the whole PC culture pisses me off.
