Export PodCast as MP3

This is assuming you are using the program Audacity which most of the users here on MTW are using for their PodCasts.

We are going to assume you have at least figured out how to RECORD yourself and you are all done with your file and now you are ready to export it as an MP3 file and email it to Morty, WillRiker, or Maximal. And you can email any of us by just adding @MortysTwistedWorld.com to our names.

1. Click FILE then slide down to EXPORT AS MP3
   
   
2. Then a window will appear asking WHERE you want to save your file. Choose a location, to make it simple, you might want to just create a folder on your desktop called something like PODCASTS.
   
   
3. After you clicked the SAVE button, you might see a window asking about "ID3 Tags" for the point of this lesson, just type your name in the title box and hit OK.
4. If this is the first time you used Audacity and EXPORTED AN MP3, you will experience Step 5. Otherwise you are done and please email the MP3 file to an Admin.
5. Being your FIRST time exporting and saving your file as an MP3, Audacity will request the location of your "lame_enc.dll" file.
   
   
6. I personally placed this file INSIDE my Audacity folder located at C:\Program Files\Audacity. Hop around and point out the location of where your lame_enc.dll file is. You will only have to do this once.
   
   
7. You will see Audacity working and converting your PodCast into an MP3. When its all done, go ahead and close out Audacity and email your PodCast's MP3 file to Morty, WillRiker, or Maximal. Just add @MortysTwistedWorld.com to the end of our names and that's our email addresses.
