At Washington, DC's Reagan National Airport today, an individual, later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a compass, a protractor, calculus tables, and an electronic calculator. US Homeland Security Authorities believe he is a member of the notorious Al gebra movement. President Bush announced the newly imposed Orange Alert, emphasizing that "we can't have people traveling around the country carrying weapons of math instruction."  |
