A cat had died and gone to Heaven, where upon arriving at Heaven's gate, he was met by God.

"You have been a good cat all these years" God told the cat, "and anything you desire is yours for the asking."

The cat thought for a minute and said, "I've lived my entire life on a farm and have had to sleep on hardwood floors."

"Say no more," said God with a smile, and instantly a fluffy pillow appeared directly in front of the cat.

Just a few days later, six mice are killed in a tragic accident and go to heaven. They are met by God at the gate to Heaven, Who made them the same offer as he had made to the cat.

"All of our lives," cried the mice, "we have had to run. Cats, dogs, and women with brooms have chased us. If we had roller skates, we wouldn't have to run anymore."

God smiled, and instantly each mouse was fitted with a beautiful pair of tiny golden roller skates.

A week had gone by when God checked in on the cat, who was sleeping comfortably on his pillow. God gently nudged him awake and asked, "How are you doing? Are you happy here?"

"I've never been happier," smiled the cat, as he stretched and yawned. "And those Meals On Wheels you have been sending over are HEAVENLY DELIGHTS!"
