Work Noises

I've been working at a coffee shop/manufactuer for the past three months now. One of the tools i use most frequently is a Direct Heat Sealer. Basically you turn it on, (up to 400 degrees celcius) stick whatever bag you need sealed in the middle, step down, and TA-DA you have a sealed bag. Anyway i realized today that everytime i do seal something, it sounds like Godzilla's 'roar' - from the old Japanese Godzilla movies, not that new american crap. Anyone else ever hear fun/annoying sounds at work?

Yep, caregiver...but we just call 'em Carers in the UK.

I was gonna set up some US/UK terms on the site a while ago, so when one word is typed it becomes clickable and has a description...kinda like horny & extreme, just with a description rather than a link to a site.

Maybe now is a good time to do it.
