| A dogs nightmare | 1/2 cup butter 1 cup milk 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 4 eggs 1 tablespoon sugar honey (optional) Prep: 25 minutes Bake: 30 minutes Oven: 375 F Makes: 12 puffs 1. Generously grease twleve 2 1/2-inch muffin cups, including the edge and around the top of each cup; set aside. In a medium saucepan melt butter; add milk. Bring to a boil. Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that does not separate. Remove from heat; cool for 5 minutes. 2. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating for 1 minute with a wooden spoon after each addition or until smooth. Divide dough evenly among prepared muffin cups, filling cups about 2/3 full (I found that my muffin cups were only about 1/2 full); sprinkle with sugar. 3. Bake in a 375 preheated oven about 30 minutes or until golden brown and puffy (it only took me about 20 minutes.) Remove from pan. Serve immediately. If desired, serve with honey. I didn't serve mine with honey and they were so delicious!! It was pretty quick to make and they were just so light and fluffy. My son is a very picky eater and doesn't eat much when he does eat and he gobbled a whole one of these. Who knows how they got their name but they were tastey anyway!!
