What are these stories and how do I join in?

First off, doing this was Maximal's idea. And I personally like it and think we can all have a lot of fun playing with it.

Its easy stuff.

Read where the story has left off at and just add another sentence or two or three. Don't type the entire story, just add a bit to it and try and set it up where the next person can run with it.

Also, you CANNOT post again until someone else has. So don't do multiple posts and make the story all yours. But you can post after 1 other person posts. Just don't claim the entire story is what we are asking.

Here in the forum it will be a bit torn up but on the story page, it should look pretty good.

Enjoy and DO NOT ask questions or make comments in the story pages. Only reply with the next line of the story. Any questions or whatever, please post them to this thread.

Certain html tags are allowed and others are not on MTW.

For the sake of making paragraphs for our stories, I have enabled the < br > tag.

If you want to start a new paragraph, hit the return key to start the new line and then use the < BR > html tag. The < BR > will put a single line of space between the paragraphs.

The dog took a shit and died. All the cats laughed and danced around the little dog's grave and later used it as their litter box.
< BR >A few years had passed and the neighborhood dogs had learned about what the cats have been doing all this time since their buddy's death........

Now with that < BR > in there, it will look like this :

Mind you for display purposes I put a space between the < and the BR and the >. Otherwise you wouldn't see it because it would act like the html tag that it is.
