I've yet to meet someone who didn't have a nickname growing up that they hated. However, despite hating those nicknames in the past it's usually good for a laugh when you talk about them after growing up a bit. During my first year of high-school I had a "mystery" nickname. The reason I call it a mystery is that I had no fucking idea what it meant and no one would tell me! The nickname? Bendecko Barr. My last name is Barr and Bendecko is Spanish for asshole. Unfortunately, for a few years I never caught on to what it really meant and it pissed me off to no end. It's all good now though, since I always have a good laugh when someone brings it back from the dead. Aside from Bendecko, I was also called the rather unimaginative Barnaby Jones, which to this day doesn't even make me crack a smile. I know every one of you has a nickname you hated, so toss them up here.

Dudly - I hated it at first but then started to like it just cuz it was my "skateboarding name" or whatever the reason. They called me Dudly because I hung out with kids that were all older than me. They would tell all sorts of jokes or smartass comments and they were really funny. But they were older than me so they obviously had more mature jokes and comments than I did and I always tried to compete with them. But I'd throw out these horrible jokes or jokes I read on my cereal box and they would just look at me and say DUD. That was a DUD. And then one of the guys sayed Dudly and it stuck.

For the first semester of my Freshman year I was called leader, because I was supposedly going to rule the world. I had just switched to a public school from a private hell hole, so I was comparitivly quite, and some seniors came up with this whole plan of how I was going to rule... to this day my study hall teacher still calls me that. I didn't really dispise it or like it... mainly confused by it

Sparky = Trade term for an Electrician And CableMonkey always called me WizKid because he's used to be the smartest fucker in class and I put him to shame on a daily basis and the class overall. Electrical just really clicks in my head for some reason. Only time he put me to shame at school was with this piece of metal the different classes made as a template for figuring out what drill sizes and screw sizes there are. Not that we'd ever carry the fucking thing around with us when working But whatever. Anyway, CableMonkey was in the other class than me and I thought my piece was the best then I walked by him while he was in his class and I saw his. Looked like he fuckin gotta it chrome plated. I couldn't believe it. But that's the first time CableMonkey and I ever talked. Then the next semester we were in the same class as one another and been best buds since.

| Lusting Over Leelee | I honest to God never really had a nickname, (not that anyone ever told me about anyway). Round my way there was just a habit of ending everyone's name with 'EE'. For example I had friends called Belly, (his surname was Bell), Scotty, (his surname was Scott), and.....well you get the picture. My brother however got nicknamed 'Odie' after the dog in Garfield. My Stepdad gave it to him when he was about 12 as he used to hit the house like a whirlwind, madly out of breath after running and then try to speak while panting like mad. One day my Stepdad said, "He's like that fucking dog in that cartoon!" and I said "You mean Odie!" and it's stuck ever since. He's 31 now and everyone still calles him Odie or Ode.

Kickass stories, keep em coming. I might have a new nickname after last night's festivities. My roommate and I threw a Tequila fest and I wore a santa hat around all night giving out Prairie Fire shots. From what I heard people saying as I blacked out, I am now Santa Barr.
