I do have a reason for doing that though, (and it's not to piss you off), it's when I preview my posts before I submit them it's easier for me to read. My eyes suck due to diabetes and I've had some major preventative laser surgery over the last three years which hurt more than I could ever verbalise.

The condition is called Retinopathy and the result is that everything is blurry, all the time, my eyes never clear out and reading things, any things, is a real bitch. Glasses have no effect as my actual eyesight is as good as it ever was, I've basically had around 6000 holes burnt into the retina at the back of my eyes in order to drain fluid and had half the surface area of the retina burnt away, and as such they no longer focus or reflect the light as good as they should. Believe me smelling your own retina burning is an interesting experience as you have to be awake while the surgery is performed. I can see shit easier on the 'net when it's in bold...and that's why I do it.

Sorry if it annoys you, but believe me, the constant blurryness 24 hours a day for the rest of my life irrates me more.

[Edit] - Although I do have to say that of all the sites I visit - Morty's is the best for me as white on black is the easiest to read.

Nope never been there before, but after having a quick look, that is real easy on the eyes.

Thing that's most annoying about it is that I used to read....a lot, and now it takes me about 6-8 months to read one book. I have to really concentrate on focusing on the words but they don't ever really clear out and I get a headache after about 20 pages so I have to quit.

I used to read about a book a week, so it sucks beyond belief.

My consultant told me though that without the surgery I would have been 100% blind because of the condition about 18 months ago, so the positive way to look at it, (no pun intended), is that any sight is better than no sight.

And Eviltwin, I've slowed down a bit on the online gaming, but I still play Starcraft and Worms Armageddon from time to time. Games I used to play included Tibia, Runescape, Heroes III and Heroes IV. I also used to be quite the Scrabble addict as well.

Oh yeah, and Morty, I've never had that happen to me before. Dropping a deuce doesn't take the flavor out of any of my meals.
